I Need Slide Out Awnings for My 2024 Alpha Wolf model 26RL-L One is 148" Flange, the Other is Tricky

Question:

would like to add slide toppers to both of my slide -outs. The slide on the drivers side is not and issue. the flange to flange is 148 inches. The slide on the passenger side however seems to be a problem. The trailer is a 2024 Alpha Wolf model 26RL-L. The passenger slide has the awning attached to the slide. The space from the awning arm to the outer edge of the flange is 8.75 inches. the top of the awning arm to the bottom of the rain gutter is 8.5 inches. With the awning closed the appears to be only one inch between the slide wall and the cover over the awning motor. Is it possible to mount a slide cover?

Hello Frank,

That is a really nice travel trailer! Yes, the driver side is great! For White you will want the # LCV000163299, and for black # LCV000165061.

Now for the passenger side, really you need at least 3" where you only have the inch from your slide wall to your awning motor cover. Can you please send me some pictures? I would really like to send them over to Lippert to see if they have anything they can suggest to make it work. I would hate to recommend something and have it void the warranty. You can respond to the email with the pictures and they will go straight to my inbox.

Thank you for the time, however it has been determined that there is no way we can put a slide topper on the passenger side. Even after I told the nice gentleman att Lippert that I have many big hammers he convince me that it just wouldn't work. Seems the two awning fabrics would just rub against each other. So going forward I will just have to keep up with cleaning off the roof. This hobbies list just keeps growing! The drivers side topper is a few weeks out before ordering, need to see what else is needed so it on one order. Frank

@Frank Hey Frank, well I am sorry to hear that is not a way to make the passenger side work, I was afraid that was going to be the case. The # LCV000165061 will come with all the necessary hardware needed to install it. Some people like the extra seal of protection with some butyl tape like the # 362BT-18x34-50 (it is optional, but recommended). You could also use some sealant like # 0160299. If you come up with some other way to keep the debris off, let me know =)
