Can MaxxFan Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan MA00A04301K Install On 1 inch Thick Roof

Question:
Hello, I am looking for a roof vent for my pop-up camper. MaxxFan manual lift 4 speed MA00A04301K would be great, but the specs say roofs 2 - 6-1/2 thick. My pop-up roof is about 1 thick. Are there similar vents that accommodate thinner roofs? I read through the installation instructions for the fan and it shows how to cut the interior to match the roof thickness. Can the be cut very shallow for a 1 roof? I also thought maybe I could install it without the indoor and trim it myself with some white 90 degree angle plastic. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thank you, John

Hey John, you can install the MaxxFan Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan # MA00A04301K on a 1 inch thick roof like what you have but you will need to cut the ceiling garnish down shorter to match that.
