Question:
I have a 2007 Jayco Jay Flight 27.5 RKS. Im looking for a new axle. According to your illustrations, you dont have one to fit. The spring center dimension is 68 1/2, and the base of stud to base of stud dimension is 86. Am I measuring it wrong?

Hello Bob, thanks for reaching out. Trailer axles are measured in two places. First is the spring center dimension and the other is the hub face dimension. We measure from the hub face because this is what determines the centerline of the tire.
That said, we do offer one 6K axle that has a 86-1/2" hub face dimension part # e45GR, but the spring seats are at 71-1/2". So these would need to be cut off and new ones would have to be welded to the axle.
If you are looking for more of a direct replacement, I suggest you reach out to an axle manufacturer like Dexter. They have a lot more axle options than we do, or they may be able to even custom make something for you.

Hey Bob, were you able to find an axle that fits your Jayco Jay Flight after checking with Dexter? Knowing what worked could help someone else trying to match those same measurements.
