Hi Boat trailer slipper leaf springs at 1750lb each , with 3500lb axle. What are the torque specs for the spring/axle U bolts for 7/16inch and 1/2 Thank you

Hey Dirk, the correct torque spec for 3,500 lb axle u-bolts is 45 and 70 ft lbs. Are you replacing leaf springs?

Thats a pretty big spread in values , is there not a target like 65ftlbs ?
