Hello Danny,
I reached out to my contact at Furrion to confirm whether the camera would function properly inside an enclosed trailer. He assured me that it will work just fine, as long as the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera # FOS05TASF is connected to a consistent 12V power supply. Maintaining steady voltage is key to keeping the camera powered and running smoothly.
What kind of precious cargo are you hauling that you need to keep a close eye on it?

Hi Kate , I had an incident once when towing a couple of motorcycles. Thinking that both bikes were strapped down well, I drove through a section of road that looked liked a moon scape. The road was mostly frost heaves and pot holes causing the tow vehicle and trailer to bounce around more than I was comfortable with. So being concerned with both bikes in the back , I pulled over to find out both bikes had leaned over and one of the hand grips of one motorcycle had dented the other motorcycle’s fuel tank. Since that incident I now have motorcycle wheels docks and better quality ratchet straps and ever since there is been no issues. Until a friend showed me his father-in-laws trailer with a back up camera and an interior camera. That made me think about adding an interior camera to my enclosed trailer so that if I ever drive over moon again . I can see in real time if I have too pull over and notify Houston- I don’t have a problem. Thank you for your time.
