Hi. I have a INEOS Grenadier with RECONN-DECK BAR cross bars by Rhino Rack. Trying to figure out if the Yakima SkyBox NX XL will fit those bars before I order it? Thanks!

Hello Ken,

I wiped out my original answer because I have some good news! The Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Rooftop Cargo Box - 16 cu ft - Black Nano-Texture # Y95AV will not fit around your Rhino-Rack Reconn-Deck Crossbar # RR38FH because the bar is too big. But here’s the good news—you can use the Yakima SmarT-Slot Mounting Kit # Y25AV to swap out the clamp system for a T-slot system.

I took a stroll out to the warehouse and confirmed that the T-slot hardware works perfectly with the Rhino-Rack Reconn-Deck Crossbar. I’ve also attached a video that Evangeline made to show you just how easy it is to swap the clamps out.

Now it’s time to load up those skis and snowboards and hit the slopes! Do you have a trip coming up soon, or are you getting ready for next season?
