Question:
Hi, could you please post a photo showing the cut/ section view of the gasket show its profile and its dimensions? Also, what is the gasket made of? Its material properties, i.e., oil resistant, would be great. Possible application would be on a 2019 Toyota Tundra CrewMax.

Hey Jose, I don't have a great picture of the profile of the Extang Seal part # EX1140 I can share with you but the dimensions of it are its 1 inch tall, and 3/8 inch thick at it's widest point. The material it is made from is EPDM rubber which is resistant to oil and gas. Beyond that we don't have more in-depth properties.

Hey Jose, did the EPDM rubber seal work well for your Tundra’s tailgate? Knowing how it performed could help others looking for a similar oil- and gas-resistant option. Your feedback would be great for anyone considering the same setup.
