Hi, Im looking at the CE Smith Multi Sport Plus Boat and Kayak Trailer w/ Bunks - 12 Wheels - 14 Boat - 800 lbs. Can you get in black? I seen pics where it is black. What is the speed rating of trailer? And is it possible to use Yakima HD bars instead of the carpeted boards? And can the long tongue bar be removed for storage? Thanks Jason

Hey Jason, we don't have the ability to get the CE Smith Multi Sport Trailer # CE48870 in black. The speed rating of the CE Smith Multi Sport Plus Boat and Kayak Trailer w/ Bunks # CE48870 is 65 mph due to the tires that are on it. If you needed to go faster than that you can swap the tires out to the part # TT48012C.

I am not sure if there's a way to replace the bunks with Yakima HD bars and the tongue was not designed to be removed when not in use.

Hey Jason, how did things work out with the CE Smith Multi Sport Plus Trailer and the tire swap option? I'm curious if the 65‑mph rating ended up meeting your needs or if you tried the upgraded tires. Your experience could point others in the right direction.
