Hey Breahna I can give you some basic troubleshooting steps but without knowing what model hot water heater you have I can't really get too specific. I recommended checking all your fuses and turning the unit on and off. Do you have any error codes when you do this? If it's propane your regulator may not be providing enough gas. You may also be under warranty so it would be a good idea to contact the manufacturer directly for their guidance.
