Curt T-Connector Trailer Wiring Harness Recommendation for a 2005 Ford Freestar

2005 Ford Freestar 4.2l - Limited - no factory tow package I just returned a differnt Curt T-Connector to my auto parts store after finding the plastic design around the T-Connector did not fit in my tailight connector piece despite the products claim that it fit 2004-07 Ford Freestars. It appears from the photo that this T-Connector is mainly straight around the plastic edge so that it should fit. What experience/feedback do you have with this product #c56673 in its actual fit with the T-Connection on a 2005 Ford Freestar? Thanks,
