Hello Paul,
I am very sorry that the first one burnt out over night, that would be quite the bummer to wake up to. The Kat's Heaters Thermostatically Controlled Circulating Tank Heater - 120V - 1,500 Watts # KH13150 is going to be a great fit for your 2007 Dodge Sprinter, and here is how you want to install it:
To install the heater, start by draining the cooling system. Then, cut the lower radiator hose at its midpoint and insert the 1-1/2" Lower Radiator Hose Connector (Kat's Heaters part # KH28115), securing it with two hose clamps.
Locate the heater hose running along the right side of the engine. Cut a 4-inch section from the center and install a Y-connector, securing it with hose clamps. Mount the tank bracket to a sheet metal plate near the right-side wheel well, positioning it as low and close to the frame as possible. Install the heater tank in the bracket, ensuring the nipple is pointing downward for proper coolant flow.
Connect a 5/8" green stripe heater hose from the lower radiator hose (via the T-connector) to the lower inlet on the heater tank, securing it with hose clamps. Then, connect another 5/8" green stripe heater hose from the Y-connector to the upper inlet of the heater tank, also securing it with hose clamps.
Finally, attach the electrical plug to the grille and fasten it with wire ties. Refill the system with coolant, bleed out any air, and perform a pressure test to check for leaks.
If you get stuck along the way, you know where to find me. Please make sure to let me know how the install goes =)

Hey Paul, how did the install of the Kat’s circulating tank heater go on your Sprinter? Did the new setup with the downward nipple and hose connections work as expected? Your update could make it easier for others working on similar coach buses.
