I’m looking for a 5th wheel hitch and was wondering if in need an auto slide or what would work best . Looking for easy install and removal do to I use my truck for work . Truck 2021 Chevy 2500 4 door Trailer 2015 VOLTAGE V SERIES 3600

Hey Blake! Do you have a short bed with the prep package? If so, the Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch # DM29GV you were looking at is a really good choice. If you do not have the prep package you need the # DM57KV with rails insead. This is a high quality hitch and the autoslide feature is great to have so you don't have to get in and out while turning.
The one difficult part about installation and removal will be the weight since the hitch weighs 322 lbs. The head is 60 lbs and is removable to make it a little easier to manage. This is pretty typical for a 5th wheel hitch, especially when you have a slider for a short bed. To make things easy you could use a hoist like the Viking Solutions Rack Jack Magnum Hoist w/ Winch # 310-VMH001. This along with the Demco 5th Wheel Lifting Bracket # DM6100 will allow you to get it in and out of the truck without too much trouble.
