Question:
How do I install my gorilla lift when there are lock pins on the top rail of the trailer ?

Hey David! The # GL1 has extension rollers # GL32VR that allow you to mount it 3" to 6" back from the edge of the side rail. However, I don't think the cable will clear the pins even if you use these. I'm also guessing when you pull that back to unlatch the tailgate you need more than 6" to clear but I could be wrong.
You may be able to add extra material to the top of the rail to mount the # GL1 a little higher so the cable clears when the tailgate is down. The only other option is to remove that pin and add a different style to the vertical upright. I will reach out to Gorilla Lift this week and see if they have an alternative suggestion. However, they're typically pretty slow to respond, assuming they do. I will update you once I hear back from them.
