Video Transcript for Review of Gorilla-Lift Lift Supports - GL32VR

Hi, everyone, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our extension roller assemblies for the Gorilla-Lift trailer tailgate lift assist. So folks, what these are gonna do is they're gonna safeguard your cables as the tailgate lowers to the ground, preventing wear and tear. And I'll throw an image up real quick on what these look like. So they go right onto the end behind the grill lift cables. And then again it's keeping that cable from getting frayed and sliding further back on your rails and those kind of things and getting kind of snug or caught up or that kind of thing.

So it's gonna give you extra clearance. As you can see, the rollers are gonna roll, the cable can slide on the really easy, you get the two roller assemblies and the four rivets and everything you need there. So basically all you need to have already is the grill lift system itself. So very simple to install. You can secure the rivets with a hammer, that's how you put 'em in there.

So you don't have to worry about tightening anything from underneath the side rails. Follow the instructions that come with it, and it should be a pretty straightforward, easy install. And that's gonna wrap it up, folks. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.

Hey David! The # GL1 has extension rollers # GL32VR that allow you to mount it 3" to 6" back from the edge of the side rail. However, I don't think the cable will clear the pins even if you use these. I'm also guessing when you pull that back to unlatch the tailgate you need more than 6" to clear but I could be wrong. You may be able to add extra material to the top of the rail to mount the # GL1 a little higher so the cable clears when the tailgate is down. The only other option is to...
