Question:

I am looking to buy a tow bar for my Jeep Wrangler to pull behind my bus. however my jeep has aftermarket front bumper. My question is if I was to send a picture of the front bumper to you do you think you can point me in the right direction of which unit I will need to purchase from you. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

If the aftermarket bumper on your Wrangler is flat and square to the tow bar, you could use a bolt-on base plate, part # BX88230. This base plate would be compatible with a Blue Ox tow bar, but if a Roadmaster bar were used, an adapter like # BX88151 would need to be used.

Roadmaster does indeed offer base plates that are compatible with Warn or Warn Elite aftermarket bumpers installed on 2012-2013 Wrangler models.

You're more than welcome to reply to this email and send a photo, but the name of the bumper manufacturer would probably be the most helpful information of all.

In addition to the base plates and a tow bar, you'll also need a solution so the lights on the jeep work in tandem with those of the bus, as well as a supplemental braking system. If you'd care to reply with the model year of your Wrangler, I'd be happy to make some more recommendations.
