Will the Curt Helux Pin Box be Rated Lower for a Lippert Rhino Pin Box

The smallest capacity Helux pin box is 24K rated, with 4,850 lbs pin weight. My 5th wheel is 14K GVW, with a pin weight of 2,000 lbs. I am concerned that there is not enough pre-load with the 24K model, to be able to utilize the full working range. Are there any plans in the works for a model in the weight range of my trailer?

Hey Bill, thank you for patience as I checked into this.
I reached out to my contact at Curt and for whatever reason they don't know - they didn't even know this was something we carry aftermarket.
Since it doesn't sound like Curt is going to make a lighter-weight pin box for the Helux # C63RJ, I recommend going with the MORryde Cushioned 5th Wheel Pin Box # MR83QR which is a bit more of a simpler pin box, but people have been really happy with the ride quality so I'm confident you'll be happy with this alternative.
