Can Husky Weight Distribution Arms be Upgraded for Larger Trailer
Updated 01/23/2025 | Published 01/16/2025 >
Question:
I have a WD hitch with p/n 2204-02-385, I believe it is a Husky brand. I am buying an Interstate Victory trailer, Model VICTVCC24TA3 with a GVWR rating of 9990 and curb weight 3766. Can I purchase a different set of bars only to fit my current hitch?

Hey Cappy, thanks for reaching out!
We used to carry the Husky brand of WD hitches, but it's been a bit since we have so you'll need to reach out to them about the compatibility here - https://www.huskytow.com/contactus
I tried looking up the model number you gave me on their site, but I wasn't able to locate anything which is why I'm pointing you in their direction.
With that being said, if you aren't able to simply upgrade the bars on your current system, then I recommend picking up the Blue Ox TrackPro # BLU27FR as an alternative that's heavy duty enough for your trailer.
If Husky does get back with you with the part number, would you be willing to let me know what that is so future visitors know what to look for?

I spoke to Husky and they said their round bars are interchangeable with my older Husky hitch. Their part number is 31521, 801 - 1200 lb toungue weight.
