Question:

I am interested in the Yakima FullSwing for my 2012 F-350. It is so easy to install, that it makes me wonder if it isnt easy to steal? How do you secure it to your vehicle? Thanks.

The Yakima FullSwing 4-Bike Rack, part # Y02465, comes with a cable lock with an SKS core that secures your bikes to the rack, and a locking mechanism that secures the rack to the hitch, as a theft deterrent. It uses the same keys so one key will lock or unlock the rack on the rear of your vehicle. I have attached an installation video for this bike rack you can check out.

If you are planning on carrying bikes with alternative frames like kids bikes or women's bikes I recommend an adapter bar like part # Y02531. This adapter bar attaches between the seat post and the handlebar stem and allows the bikes to ride more evenly in the carrier while providing more ground clearance.
