I want to put this on my 2019 honda civic. Are the dimensions similar enough to do so?

Hey Martin,
The EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7299 is designed to fit 2010 - 2011 Honda Accord Crosstour and 2012 - 2015 Honda Crosstour so it will not be a fit for your 2019 Civic. There's currently only two options confirmed to fit; the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24954 and Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C92UR. These are both Class I hitches with a 1-1/4" receiver tube opening.
Of the two I recommend the Curt # C92UR because Curt typically does a better job with their powder coating and the receiver tube has a lip on it so that you can use a anti-rattle clamping device (like the # e99007) to prevent whatever accessory you install from moving inside the hitch. The receiver tube is going to be the only portion sticking out, which will require you to trim the rear fascia (see picture below). I've also attached a couple of installation videos where either Brad or Shane will walk you through the installation process.
Having only a 1-1/4" receiver tube opening will limit what you can do so if you want to tell me more about what you're wanting to use the hitch for I can see if it's still possible or if you'd need something else to make it work.

Hey Martin, how did things go with the Curt hitch for your Civic? Did the fit and fascia trim work out as expected? Your update could make it easier for the next person with the same setup.
