Is There 60 inch Crossbar Roof Rack that Fits 2023 Subaru Ascent with Raised Roof Rails

Question:

I see that the 53” Rhino Rack crossbars are confirmed to fit my 2023 Subaru Ascent roof rails, but also would like to know if the longer 60” bars of same brand would fit also, in the case I want more overhang for bigger accessories baskets/boxes/awnings. Thanks

Hey Long, so I have a 60 inch crossbar solution that we know fits your 2023 Subaru Ascent but Rhino Rack only has the 53 inch setup as a fit for your vehicle. Since the attachment channels that run along the bottom of the bars does not go all the way down the bar we couldn't guarantee a longer bar from Rhino Rack would fit.

Instead the Yakima Jetstream Crossbar Set part # Y42GD would be a really great option that is 60 inches like you are wanting. We recently got out all of the popular roof racks that we carry and everyone agreed they liked the Jetstream the best based on quality, appearance, and ease of install/removal so that is what I would recommend for you.

Hey Long, how did things go with the Yakima Jetstream crossbars on your Subaru Ascent? Were you able to get the extra overhang you wanted for your accessories? Your update could make it easier for others looking for a similar setup.
