I own a 2018 Lexus GX460 SUV. I am in the process of buying a travel trailer and am in need of mirror extensions. I cant confirm if any of your mirror extensions will work. Can you help me with this. Thank you for any assistance.

Hi Michael,
There unfortunately aren't any custom-fit towing mirrors available for your 2018 Lexus GX 460 so you'd have to go with a universal-fit mirror like the K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors # KS3891-2. These clamp on to the front of the mirror housing and tighten down with straps.
I've used a similar pair myself and can verify that they aren't as great as a snap-on/slip-on mirrors but they do get the job done. I really cranked down on the rubber straps and then ran the ends under the straps as tight as I could to prevent them from flapping in the wind and making noise. The tighter the towing mirrors are to the mirror the less vibration you'll get in the mirror for a clearer picture.

Hey Michael, how did the K-Source universal towing mirrors work out on your GX460 when towing your trailer? It’d be great to hear if tightening the straps helped cut down on vibration. Your update could make it easier for others towing with the same SUV.
