Updated 12/23/2024 | Published 12/20/2024

Question:

2020 solitude 390rk. Currently running furion rear and side cameras. Having extreme problems with this set up and its wireless functions. Keep on losing rear camera or it freezes. Looking for a system that is more reliable than what I have.

Larry, Furrion is considered to be the biggest and best setup you can get so I'd actually recommend sticking with what you have. Since you're losing connectivity and it's acting weird makes me think there is an issue with power supply or maybe the wire connections are bad, so I'd start by checking those things first before deciding to uproot your entire system.

If you've already checked that and have decided that you're done with Furrion, then the Voyager WiSight 2.0 Wireless RV Backup Camera System w/ Night Vision # ASA57YR is what I'd go for.

This system is going to be similar to what you've already got, includes a 7" LED screen that can display up to 4 cameras, and has a 115 degree viewing angle for maximum viewing while reversing.

wiring has been checked by me several times. it affects the rear the worst. the side cameras are affected also. this leads me to believe that it is a transmission problem. i have replace the monitor and back camera. problem is still an issues. the distance is about 50 feet. if i get in a corridor the signal bounce off and reaches monitor. so i have done all the TS. furrion is off my list. i just have to figure out what to get next without leaving a lot of holes.

@Larry Gotcha, then it sounds like you're ready to move on to something different like the Voyager WiSight 2.0 Wireless RV Backup Camera System w/ Night Vision # ASA57YR. You'd just need to remove the shark fin on the back of your trailer and splice in the new WiSight 2.0 cameras.
