Hello Heath, thanks for reaching out. The Tekonsha P3 # 90195 uses an internal inertia sensor which applies the trailer brakes when it senses deceleration. If you are testing the controller with the vehicle parked, the trailer brakes will not apply when the brake pedal is pressed. They should activate when the manual override is pressed though. If the brakes are not applying with the manual override or with the vehicle in motion it could be because of a missing/blows fuse. Check your owner's manual for fuse type and location and make sure all fuses related to the tow package are in good shape and inserted correctly.

Hey Heath, did checking the fuses and testing the manual override on your Tekonsha P3 get the trailer brakes working again? Knowing what fixed it could really help others troubleshooting their Frontier setups.
