Hi Worrel,
For your 2016 Nissan Frontier I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98869 that you were already looking at. This is a super easy bolt up installation that can you do from home to save on installation costs. If don't have a torque wrench we offer them with part # ALL944001 or you can typically rent them for free from your local auto parts store. I've also attached a video below where Dave will walk you through the installation process.
If you're planning on towing a trailer you'll also need a wiring harness like the Curt # C56226. There should be two connectors on the driver's side frame rail at the back of the truck. You'll see them when installing the hitch. You'll also have a harness with relays to plug in behind the trim in front passenger seat. To mount the 7-way to your trailer hitch I recommend no drill bracket # 18136 and # 18138. I've attached a video below for this installation as well.
