Question:

I currently have 8/20/2022 forward F3 50 super duty crew cab with a 6 3/4 ft ? bed that has a PUK system. I recently bought a 2020 DRV mobile sweets with an empty weight of 18,434 pounds. My current hitch is a Reese with a weight rating that is just 18,000 pounds. I am needing to replace that but would like to replace it with the Curt Q 25 fifth wheel slider hitch. I need a slider to make turns with this vehicle. My current hitch is a slider. I know the Curt Q20 slider would work but I would like to upgrade to the Kurt Q 25 slider. I dont see a way that this will work with my PUK system. Is there an adapter that I can use to make this Q 25 work? I think this would be a better overall hitch for me. Thanks

Hello again Bill; you can add the Curt Q25 # C16566 to your 2022 Ford F-350 puck system using the Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch # C88KR. The adapter installs in the puck system and provides you with rails to install and use the Q25.

Thank you for your timely reply. I have ordered the Q25 and adapter rails and look forward to installing these. They should be here in the next 4 to 6 days. My current trailer is in for winterizing and repairs and I will install this prior to picking up the trailer. Will look forward to this new adventure and will contact you with questions should arise.
