Recommended Bike Carrier for Hummer H3

The Swagman Pick-Up Truck-Bed-Mounted Bike Carrier is designed for pick up truck beds, so it is not a fit for your Hummer H3.

However, I do have several bike carrier options for your Hummer. Our most popular bike rack for the Hummer H3 is the Swagman Original # S64400 4 Bike Rack for 2" Hitches. I have linked to a video review of the bike rack for you to check out.

I have also linked you to a FAQ article that shows how to measure the distance between your hitch pin hole and the furthest rearward point of your spare tire. The article also lists the hitch pin hole to closest portion of the rack dimension for many of our hitch mounted bike racks.

I also have a Swagman Bike Frame Adapter, # 64005, that you can attach one end to the bike's seat post and the other end to the handlebar stem post. The adapter will allow women and kids' bikes and some alternative bike frames to be carried on the bike rack.

If you do not have a hitch on your 2006 Hummer H3 I recommend the Draw-Tite Class III Max Frame Hitch, # 75382. This is an easy bolt-on application and will give you a 2 inch hitch on the rear of your vehicle.

Another bike rack option is a Thule Spare Me 2-Bike Carrier # TH963PRO which mounts on your spare tire as long as you have the factory installed spare tire. Check out the link to a video review of the part # TH963PRO.

You could also go with a roof-mounted bike carrier. I would recommend the Swagman Upright Roof Bike Carrier # S64720. I have linked to a video review of part # S64720 you can check out. This single rail bike rack mounts to the roof rack load bars on your vehicle.
