Question:
Hello! What a fantastic and informative website. Its clear you provide great customer service. I have a 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy Hybrid. It has all-wheel drive, but I would like to get a set of chains for icy conditions as needed. The tire dimensions are 255/45R20. I saw some people purchase two sets for all four tires. If I only bought one set for my vehicle, which tires do they go on? The front or back? Thank you!

Hello Kim.
Thank you for the kind words. We really do pride ourselves with our amazing content on our site, and our excellent customer service where you get to talk to real live people!
The Konig Tire Chains # TH2004705255 that you were looking at will most likely be a great fit. With you have larger tires and rims than what comes on the stock base model, you will need to double check the clearance. I have included an image to show where you need to measure.
These chains will fit your tires if there is both:
A - a minimum of 1.46" (37 mm) between the top of the tire tread and the wheel well
B - at least 0.59" (15 mm) between the tire's sidewall and the vehicle
Now with your vehicle being AWD, if you were to use just the one set you will want to put them on your front tires as they are responsible for steering the vehicle, that is where you are going to want your best traction in those snowy/icy conditions.
I also recommend adding the Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjuster for Light Trucks - 1 Pair # TCMA2 to the chains as they ensure a nice snug fit.
If you measure and you do not have the clearance, then you could consider getting the ISSE Classic Snow Socks - Size 70 - 1 Pair # TCH70.
One last thing I like to tell my tire chain folks: Please practice putting these on in the comfort of your warm garage. It is much easier to learn how they go on in your garage, than while you are freezing on the side of the road. If you ever have any issues, you know where to find us.

Hey Kim, how did things go with the Konig tire chains on your Santa Fe Hybrid? Were you able to get the clearance you needed for those larger tires? Your update could make it easier for others with the same setup.
