Hi Jared,
A 5 amp hour breakaway battery is typically used for most single and tandem axle applications. For triple axle applications you'll need the 10 amp hour battery to ensure each brake assembly is getting enough power to last for 15 minutes on full power in the event of a breakaway. You can still go with the higher capacity 10 amp breakaway battery # 3802311 if you want, it's just not necessary for you application. If you want to go with a 5 amp hour battery instead the # 20099 we talked about before would still be an compatible option for your 3" tall trailer frame.

Hey Jared, how did things turn out with the breakaway battery for your 6x10 trailer? Did you end up going with the 5Ah or the 10Ah kit? Your update could make it easier for others deciding between those two options.
