Features to know about

Where Does the Hitch Go When the Job's Over?

Hitch Holder Holding Hitch in Truck Bed

You pull your adjustable hitch out of the receiver because you don't want it sticking out behind the truck when you're not using it. Now you're holding 40 or 50 pounds of steel with nowhere obvious to put it. It ends up buried under straps and tools or collecting dust in your garage until the next trip. The Hitcholder gives it a dedicated place in your truck bed, so every time the hitch comes off, it goes right back where it belongs. When it's time to tow again, you're not digging through the truck or trying to remember where you left it in the garage.

Works With Ford BoxLink Cleats

Hitch Holder BoxLink Compatible

A heavy adjustable hitch doesn't tend to stay where you set it. Every stop, turn, and bump sends it sliding across your truck bed floor and into the sidewalls. The Hitcholder mounts directly to the factory BoxLink attachment points, giving your hitch a permanent storage location without drilling into the truck bed. It still leaves your other BoxLink cleats, bed lighting, and lower tie down anchors available, so you don't give up the features your truck already has. Once the hitch is in place, the included thumb screw helps reduce movement and rattle while you drive.

Video Transcript for Review of Hitcholder In-Bed Storage Bracket for Trailer Hitch Ball Mounts - HH44FR

Hi, everyone, Steven here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at a Hitcholder in-bed storage bracket for trailer hitch ball mounts that use a two-inch by two-inch receiver shank. Folks, this is a custom-fit application. It's gonna fit the 2015 Ford F-150s and current year. So 2015 to current year. Make sure you double check in the Fit Guide to be sure it fits your vehicle.

So a heavy hitch that's adjustable doesn't stay where you set it, right So if you have it in the back of your hitch, you're hitting your shank on it, your shin on it, walking around. That's no fun, right Well, if I throw it in the bed of my truck, every stop, turn, and bump sends it flying across the truck, banging into stuff, banging into the side walls, scratching up my beautiful paint job, right So that's when this Hitcholder comes into play. Yeah, you can put it in your toolbox. Now you're losing valuable tool space. So when you get this attached to your factory boxlink attachment points on your Ford truck, it's gonna look something like this.

This is just a generic photo. And it's gonna give your hitch a permanent storage location without having to drill into your truck bed. You're still gonna have your other boxlink cleats, bed lining, lower tiedown anchors. All that will still be available. You're not giving up anything in the bed other than a couple inches right there on the side.

It doesn't even stick out past your fenders either on the truck bed. So it's a great option. I personally love it because of those features. And you can simply put your hitch in here, put the hitch pin in place, use the spring-loaded set screw here, tighten everything up so there's no rattling or anything as well. And it's got a nice black powder coat finish.

So it's a very simple concept, but a very thoughtful as far as the design and everything. And again, you're just gonna reuse the four T30 six-millimeter bolts that come out of that boxlink. And you're gonna replace them. This is compatible with lots of different hitches, from B&W's Tow & Stow, BulletProof Hitches, Weigh Safe adjustable trailer hitch ball mounts, and many different ones as well. You can check out all the options on the product page. So folks, this again is our two-inch receiver holder for the Hitcholder in-bed storage bracket for those trailer hitch ball mounts, rather, that are two-inch receiver size. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.

  • Looking For Truck Bed Mounted Holder For Adjustable Ball Mount
Hey Sunil, thanks for reaching out. The Hitcholder In-Bed Storage Brackets are a great option for keeping your adjustable ball mount secured and out of the way in your 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4. They can mount on either side of the truck bed, so I'd recommend using the side without the MOLLE panels to keep everything accessible and avoid interfering with your existing setup. They also work with most major adjustable hitch brands, including B&W, BulletProof Hitches, and Weigh Safe. We have...

  • 7 Inch Ball Mount with Ball Included
Hey Ian! Yes, if you're needing a 7" drop with the ball included, the best setup you can get is an adjustable ball mount. The B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount # BWTS10040B is really the top of the line. It adjusts in 1" increments up to 7-1/2" of drop and it includes two balls (2" and 2-5/16") to allow for multiple trailer setups. The recommended ground clearance on this hitch to avoid scraping on steep hills or curbs is a minimum of 11". If you prefer a fixed ball mount system, then you...
