Question:
I have a2023 gmc 3500. Anderson hitch swapped installed. Question is the fifth wheel has 6in height above the bed but the hitch is close to the tailgate.approximately 2in from the fithwheel hitch. I put the two part tailgate down and think it’s attcepable but don’t think that’s correct fix. Would appreciate the advice. Thx joe

It sounds like your trailer is sitting nose high currently and you would need to lift the trailer suspension so that you can retain the bed rail trailer overhang dimension as well as have the needed clearance above the tailgate. For that we have the Correct Track part # RR23QX for a 1 inch lift or part # RR55QX for a two inch lift.

Hey Joe, how did things turn out after you lifted the trailer suspension with the Correct Track kit? It’d be great to know if that helped level your setup and gave you the clearance you needed above the tailgate. Your update could make it easier for the next person with the same issue.
