Hi Lee,

Really good questions, and let's start with the query about long spindles, and the answer is no, you do not need to have the system with long spindles to use disc brakes. Then for the rise or drop, that measurement is taken from the bottom of the frame to the center of the spindle. I'm not sure if you're looking for a drop, rise or just standard so I'll go ahead and list out the options for the 3,500 lb Timbren systems:

- 4" Lift: Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension # ASR3500S06

- No Drop/Lift: Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension # ASR3500S05

- 4" Drop: Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension # ASR3500S04

Then for a disc brake kit that fits the spindle on these kits and has a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern use the Dexter Premier Disc Brake Kit # T2HRCM10DAC.

Hey Lee, how did things turn out with the 3,500 lb Timbren axle system and disc brake setup? Did the rise or drop option you chose line up with your trailer frame the way you wanted? Your update could make it easier for the next person working through the same choices.
