Will the Hughes Autoformers Safe View Smart Power Inlet - 30 Amp - LED - Black cover an existing 3 1/2inch round hole? Thanks

I've drawn up a little diagram below of the Hughes Autoformers Safe View Smart Power Inlet # HU87VR dimensions. Based on what I found a 3-1/2" round hole would be a bit too large and would require you to first place some sort of cover over the hole and cut a hole in the cover to mount the inlet into.

Someone should develop a plate for this. The conversion from the old “mouse hole” to the newer connector is quite common but there is only one product sold that just screws on. Many people want to upgrade to a better solution like the Hughes or the SmartPlug and they have to create their own product.
