Question:
I own a 2000 f250 4 door superduty shortbed. I have a draw tite 15000 that came with my 5th wheel. Will this install kit work with what i have? I have the rails that came with the hitch.

Since you already have the rails for your fifth-wheel hitch you will not need to purchase the rails again so you can use the Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch Custom Installation Brackets - Ford Super Duty Trucks, item # 50043, for your installation. With this installation kit a hole will have to be enlarged in the truck frame. We have the Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch Custom Installation Brackets - Ford Super Duty Trucks, item # RP50082, which does not require drilling into the truck frame for installation also. Either of these installation kits will work with your hitch and rails.
I have provided links to the instructions for both bracket kits, as well as an install video showing the # RP50082 brackets being installed on a 1999 F-350. The procedure for installing the brackets on your truck would be similar to that shown in the video.
