Will High Pointe Built-In Convection Microwave with Air Fryer Fit 2015 Shasta Airflyte With EM925RYS

Question:
I have a 2015 Shasta Airflyte Reissue that currently has the High Pointe EM9225RYS in it. The trim at the bottom has broken so its not stabilized anymore. We were just going to purchase the trim but thought that it might be a good time to upgrade to something we might be more useful. Weve been looking into both full ovens, air fryers, or a microwave/air fryer combo. It looks like the High Pointe combo is a little larger. The camper is in storage right now so I wanted to check if you thought it would fit or if you had any other available recommendations.

Hi Drew; the High Pointe Built-In Convection Microwave with Air Fryer # HP36ZR may fit in place of your High Pointe EM9225RYS. However, you really need to measure and check the available space to be sure. The required cutout is 14-1/2" tall x 22-1/2" wide.
The # HP59ZR, which is the direct replacement for your current microwave, uses a 20" wide x 13-1/8" tall x 14-1/8" deep cutout. You can enlarge the opening if space allows but you're also going to need an additional 5" of depth. The overall dimensions are also larger at 20-1/2" wide x 12-7/8" tall x 20" deep.

Hey Drew, what did you find when you measured the space for the High Pointe convection microwave with air fryer? Once you checked those cutout dimensions, did either option look like a good fit for your Shasta Airflyte? Your update could make it easier for others upgrading their RV kitchens.
