Question:

I have 2020 Heartland Elkridge with 7k dexter axels, I wanting to switch to oil hubs, I see two differnt types of hubs, one with a smaller oil seal, do you know off the top of your head what part number is for my trailer?

Hi Ed,

There unfortunately isn't a guide to tell us what your trailer has on it so we'll have to check your current components for part numbers or measure the spindle and hub to find out what's going to fit. Since your trailer is newer we could probably look up the bearings and seals with the part number stamped into the face of the hub. If not, we'll need the part numbers from the bearing and seals.

If you have no visible part numbers then you can measure the bore hole of the hub for the outer diameter and points B, C, and D on the spindle from the diagram with a caliper # PTW80157.

Hey Ed, were you able to measure your spindle and hub or find the part numbers for your bearings and seals? Once you have that info, it’ll be easier to confirm which oil hub fits your Elkridge. Let me know what you find—I’m here if you need a hand narrowing it down.
