Question:

Hello: I will be driving my small sailboat Laser across country to MI from OR. 2500 miles. I would like to get new tires for the trailer, that are worthy of such a trip...the current tire says 4.8 -8 and the wheel has 5 holes...Im looking for a high rated set up to reduce any travel issues.

Hey Mike, for your trailer I recommend checking out the Kenda 4.80/4.00-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8" White Wheel # AM30020. These are 4.80/4.00-8 tires with a 5 on 4 1/2 lug pattern, has a B load range, a weight capacity of 590 lbs. at 60 PSI, and will work great for your upcoming road trip.

Bryce: Thanks. I was wondering if there is anything "beefier" in a trie and rim? Mike Mason

@MikeM Mike, if by beefier are you referring to the weight capacity? If so, the beefiest ones we have are the Kenda 4.80/4.00-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8" White Wheel # AM30060 which has a 745 lb capacity at 90 PSI.
