Hello I have a 2025 Chevrolet Silverado HD 4 wheel drive pickup truck with a 6.75 length bed... Do you recommend a slider fifth wheel hitch for this vehicle or regular hitch.. Im mostly interested in the Curt A16 if a slider is needed but if a slider is not needed Im interested in the Patriot 16K can you please advise

Congrats on the new truck! Since you have the shorter 6-3/4' bed in your new 2025 Silverado 2500 it is recommended to go with a slider hitch like the Curt A16 item # C16521 you referenced. This will give you the proper turning clearance so you don't have to worry about hitting your truck when you're making tight turns.
There's two different configurations of this hitch depending on whether or not your 2025 Chevy Silverado 2500 came with the factory puck system or not. I have listed them below:
Without the factory puck system - Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R16 Slider item # C16521 and Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for Chevy/GMC Truck item # C16429-204.
With the factory puck system - Curt A16 5th Wheel Hitch w/ S20 Slider for Ford and Chevy/GMC Prep Package item # C86ZJ. This set up comes with an adapter that drops right down into the imbedded pucks. It provides you with a base to mount the Curt A16 to.
