What Gen-Y executive Pin Box Fits The 2017 Jayco Pinnacle 36FBT?

Question:

I have a 2017 Jayco Pinnacle 36FBTs with a GVWR around 16K. Which gen y executive hitch do you recommend if any? Thanks

Hello Tim. I can definitely point you in the right direction, but pin boxes are not custom fitted, so there is no way to look up your camper to know exactly what model of Gen-Y hitch you will need.

The main thing we need to know is the pin box number or size of the current pin box. There should be a sticker on the pin box that shows the brand, model number, serial number and stuff. If you can tell me the brand, model number and serial number of your pin box, I can use this to determine the correct replacement.

If no sticker is present, we have a measuring guide that can be used to determine the size by measuring the bolt hole spacing. You will find a link to the measuring guide below in the "featured help information" section.

For example, the Gen-Y Hitch Executive Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel Pin Box # GY78GR is designed to replace the Lippert 1621 and 1621HD pin boxes which are quite common. If this is not exactly what you have, just let me know your pin box number in the comments below and I am happy to make a recommendation.

Here is model number of our current pin box RPB72-1621HD It is 18000 lbs

@Tim Perfect! The Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel Pin Box # GY46FR is the correct model for your camper. This will be a very nice upgrade from a standard pin box.
