Will Blue Ox Trailer Hitch Fit 2012 Chevy Express Cutaway

Question:
All the rest of the hitch set ups say they don’t fit the cutaway Chevy express models, but that’s what I own. This hitch does not say that. Can you confirm this will work with my 2012 cutaway Chevy express 3500?

Hi David; I'm sorry to say the Blue Ox Trailer Hitch Receiver # BLU23UR does not fit the cutaway. This is a new hitch for us which is probably why it is missing the tech tip. However, in the instructions it is listed as 1996-2024 Chevy Express 3500/GMC Savana 3500 (No Cutaway).
The only option for your 2012 Chevy Express 3500 Cutaway is going to be a universal hitch like the # 41990-07. This Class V hitch has a 2" receiver and weld-on installation. We recommend taking it to a certified welder unless you have experience with this.
