Thanks for reaching out, Mitch. The etrailer Class 3 Hitch # e98912 will fit the following vehicles:
2018 - 2024 Subaru Crosstrek excluding Hybrid
I see that you were looking at parts for a 2023 Subaru Forester on our website. The correct hitch for a 2023 Forester is the Curt # C13409 or the Curt # C47HR. The # C47HR hitch is going to be concealed behind the bumper, so it will look more clean once installed. The only downside is the bumper must be removed temporarily so it is a bit time consuming. The # C13409 hitch is a more straightforward bolt-on install but the hitch is not concealed.
