Question:
Hi, I have a 2022 Kia Sorento with the factory flat 4 wire plug mounted on the 2inch hitch assembly How do I connect the Curt Bluetooth wireless brake controller, part number 51180 echo, to the 4-pin? Thanks Ron

Hello Ronald, thanks for reaching out. We actually custom make a wiring kit specifically for this purpose. The Curt Echo # C51180 requires a 7-way plug with 12v power, so for that you can use the 7-Way Upgrade Kit # ETBC7L. This kit contains everything you need to upgrade your 4-flat connector to a 7-way, which will allow you to use the Curt Bluetooth controller.

Hey Ron, how did the upgrade to the 7-way connector go with your Sorento? Were you able to get the Curt Echo working once you added the ETBC7L kit? Your update could make it easier for the next person setting up the same controller.
