I need a replacement master cylinder 171. Can you help me with a replacement?

Jim, since Atwood went out of business there is no longer any replacement 171 master cylinders, and there is not a different brand master cylinder that will work as a replacement.
With that said, I recommend replacing your coupler with either the Demco Hydraulic Trailer Brake Actuator # DM72VR if your 1996 Jayco trailer has drum brakes, or # DM62VR if your trailer has disc brakes.
