Question:
Hi I have a seven blade socket on the rear of my 2014 Tiffin Allegro Bus. Does this merely plug into that socket and then it gives me 7 blade and 4 flat access at the same time? I use magnet mounted lights on my tow vehicle I need the 4 flat socket for. I use a 7 bade to 4 flat adapter now. However, Id like to add your Roadmaster tow vehicle charging kit. What will I need to purchase to connect the 7 blade RV socket so I can install your Roadmaster battery charging kit? Thats assuming this adapter will give me access to 7 blade and then 4 flat for the lights. Thanks

Hi Scott,
The Curt Replacement OEM USCAR Trailer Connector # C42JR does not support both the 4-way and 7-way at the same time so you would need to switch to the Hopkins # 30955 if you have a USCAR style connector or the Hopkins # HM48470 if you don't. Either would allow you to plug in your 4-pole lighting as well as a 7 to 6-way cable # RM-146-7 so that you can run a charge line # RM-156-25 to the towed vehicle. If there isn't a charge line ran to the motorhome 7-way then you can also pick up the # RM-156-75.

Hey Scott, how did things go with the Hopkins connector and the Roadmaster charge line setup on your Tiffin? Your update could make it easier for the next person trying to wire both lighting and charging through a 7-way.
