Question:
I upgraded to lifepo4 battery as a result I had to upgrade to this converter for charging. My battery has a 40A breaker, that is tripping during charging. What is the recommended battery breaker size for this unit?

Hello Matt. The 40-amp breaker is what Progressive Dynamics recommends for the # PD4635V converter. If the 40-amp breaker keeps blowing this likely means there is something else wrong with your wiring. A short is the most probable explanation so I suggest you inspect your wiring and look for any damaged or frayed wire that may be causing a short.
