Thanks for reaching out, Terry!

There are some galvanized leaf springs on the market, but we've found that the Dacromet finish on our leaf springs, like the 25-1/4" Long # e28SR you were looking at, is better because it doesn't flake like galvanized springs do, and the Dacromet finish has a salt spray rating of 700 hours.

I recommend Dacromet springs over galvanized springs, but if you're set on wanting galvanized springs I recommend checking with a local trailer shop or RV dealer about placing a custom order with their supplier for you.

Hey Terry, were you able to find the galvanized leaf springs for your boat trailer, or did you decide to go with the Dacromet ones instead? Knowing what worked could help others choosing between those finishes.

@Gwendolyn. Thanks for the info. I’m thinking someone has stolen my identity as I haven’t thought about springs in a few years. When was this requested. However I’m glad to know about this option as I have a trailer so I will save this email to get these springs when necessary. Thanks TD

@TerryD Sorry for the confusion Terry! We just wanted to follow up since it had been a while since we heard back from ya. At least now you have a bookmark for springs for when you need them.
