2024 Ford F-350 Super Duty TorkLift SuperHitch and SuperTruss Recommendations for In-Bed Camper

Question:

I have a 2024 ford f350 dually, 7.3 gas, long bed crew cab 4x4, with 6,360 of payload before bed mat, and with tailgate, i have a lance 1062 and I want to tow my boat to, it has 550 of Tongue weight, but prefer to assume 650-700 for buffer. what super hitch will work and what supertruss length? I prefer the lightest possible. also I have standard bumper on the camper

Thanks for reaching out again, Kevin!

You'll need to go with the TorkLift SuperHitch Magnum Trailer Hitch Receiver # TL27CR for your 2024 Ford F-350 (which requires the removal of the factory hitch receiver if present), and then for the extender the most commonly used is the 36" SuperTruss # TLE1536, but the correct length really boils down to your specific in-bed camper and your trailer.

You'll want to calculate how much extension you actually need and then you can choose from the linked selection if the 36" length doesn't look to be what you need.

@KevinW To get the correct truss length you'll want to measure from the center of the hitch pin hole on your truck to the rearmost edge of your in-bed camper when it's installed on your truck. The truss will then need to be at least that long so you'll have turning clearance for your boat trailer.

sorry I also need camper tie down brackets, do they make rear brackets that use the super hitch as the place to mount them?

@KevinW They do! What you'll need is the Custom Fit Tie Down Kit # TL39NR which works as long as you don't have the Hidden Power feature or flip out steps at the back of your truck.
