Question:
I just bought an Electra Townie 7-speed step thru 26inch bike. The bike rack Im going to purchase for my towable camping trailer is the Swagman Traveler XC2 p/n S64663. It looks like Ill need an adapter bar. But my seat post holder measures 1 3/4inch od. Is there an adapter bar that will fit my seat post? Thank you

Hi Renee, thanks for reaching out!
You may need an adapter bar to get the Swagman Traveler XC2 # S64663 and your Electra Townie to work together, but if you take a look at some of our review photos it looks like some people were able to get the arm to come down far enough to secure their step-thru bike without needing an adapter bar.
Nevertheless, if you'd like to have one on hand, the Swagman Bike Frame Adapter Bar # 64005 will work for you. It may not fit over the main seat tube (it doesn't look like any of ours will), but you'll still be able to fit it over the smaller tube that's connected directly to your seat.

Hey Renee, how did things go pairing your Electra Townie with the Swagman Traveler XC2 rack? Did the adapter bar end up being needed, or were you able to secure the bike without it? Your update could make it easier for others with step-thru frames to decide what works best.
