Question:

Hi I have a 2004 ford f150 of which the factory hitch has rotted away . Do you have a hitch that will fit this application ? If not what would be the closest to what I need to have a welder installed ? Thankyou .

Hi Frederico,

To replace the factory hitch on your 2004 Ford F-150 I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e58KR. This Class III hitch comes with 6,000lb GTW / 600lb TW capacity and can be used with a weight distribution hitch to haul even more weight. You'll want to check the capacities of your F-150 just to confirm it's capable of handling the weight and go with whichever rating is lower. The matte black finish will help hide and scratches or blemishes that you'd typically get from usage or just from rocks and other road debris hitting it.
