Is There a Way to Install Hitch on 1979 Subaru Brat

I googled for an answer to: can a 1979 Subaru BRAT tow a 15-foot aluminum fishing boat on a trailer? when someone who had this same PU Truck answered. They said Yes and recommended your business. When I did a search here, I got no reply, perhaps due to the age of the truck? Im moving to a Seniors Apartment and I only get one parking spot. I need to decide which truck to sell, my 1979 Subaru Brat or my 1999 Dodge Dakota 8 bed. I really dont want to give up my Brat but, I dont want to give up fishing either. Can you help me? The whole Rig cant be more than 1000lbs. Total. 20hp Johnson motor + gas and battery in the back end.

Hey Richard, so we don't have any hitches that fit your 1979 Subaru Brat but what you might do is check with a local welder/fabricator and see if they can make you a hitch for the truck. If this is the vehicle you really want to keep I would at least try that before selling it to keep the 99 Dakota.

For the 99' Dakota though we have great hitch options like the etrailer part # e53AR.
