Question:

I have a 2017 International Lonestar, and I want to flat-tow a 2020 Cadillac Escalade. If you could send me a list of all the components needed, that would be of huge help.

Hey Kian, thanks for reaching out!

Here are the parts I recommend for flat towing your 2020 Cadillac Escalade:

- Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX1716
- Nighthawk All-Terrain Tow Bar with LEDs # RM-677
- Accessory Kit for Nighthawk and Sterling Tow Bars # RM-9284-2
- Battery Disconnect with Switch # RM-766
- Demco Air Force One Flat Tow Brake System for RVs w/ Air Brakes # DM26VR
- High-Low Adapter (see attached article - bracket height is 17-1/2")

All of these parts are from various manufacturers, but they are the best combination for ease of use in setting up your Escalade. After the initial installation you'll just need to connect a few things and press a button for your Escalade battery before heading down the road!

I've attached some videos for you to check out. You'll need to make sure your Lonestar is equipped with a 2" hitch receiver and a 7-Way trailer socket in order for these parts to be compatible.

@Kian That will activate the brakes on your Escalade at the same time as your truck and a braking system is required for flat towing. I really like the Air Force One because it will tie in with the air brakes on your truck, and this system is a one-time install on your Escalade but will stay hidden so you won't notice it's there when you aren't flat towing.
